Marcus is the dean of the Warriors’ beat. He was traveling with the team as a beat writer for several years before Golden State drafted Stephen Curry with the No. 7 overall pick in 2009 and has written multiple books on the team’s five consecutive trips to the NBA Finals from 2015-19.
In a wonderful conversation, Marcus and I not only spoke at length about the Warriors’ chances of winning a fourth championship in a span of eight years and the strengths and weaknesses of this season’s squad but also traded numerous tales about our shared years covering the Curry and Co. Dubs from close range. There’s a lot here and I urge you to give it a listen.
