For your weekend listening pleasure
Here's a summary of (and links to) my latest around-the-NBA podcast alongside Turner Sports' Chris Haynes
On Thursday night, for the second week in a row, Turner Sports' Chris Haynes and I recorded a podcast one day later than usual due to scheduling conflicts.
And then silly me, expertly losing my bearings, said in the intro that we were recording this episode on Wednesday night … when I couldn’t have humanly recorded because I was attending the Golden State-at-Dallas game.
Yet I assure you that the podcast we ultimately assembled contained lots of good material despite the less-than-smooth launch. Subjects we covered in the pod that dropped Friday include:
🏀 All the latest major injury news in the West surrounding Paul George, LeBron James and Zion Williamson
🏀 How injuries have affected the bizarre-looking West standings
🏀 The Mavericks' looming protest of their home loss to the Warriors
🏀 An increasingly tenuous climate regarding the officiating in today's NBA
🏀 When I talked about some things I missed about ESPN … Haynes naturally tried to get me to talk about what I don’t miss about ESPN.
🏀 We closed with fond remembrances of Trail Blazers legend Jerome Kersey and Chris’ push for Portland to retire Kersey’s No. 25
It's the usual jam-packed episode that hopefully fits into your weekend nicely.
