It is Feb. 2.
Almost.
It was closing in on midnight in the Eastern time zone on Feb. 1 when I hit the publish button. And since the NBA, as I’ve noted countless times in the past, operates on Eastern Time, we can safely say that the trade deadline for the 2022-23 season is essentially one week away.
