The basketball romantic in me refused all season to believe it could get this far, but NBA free agency is almost here and the prospect of Thompson leaving Golden State has never seemed more feasible

It will take time for many NBA-watchers to get used to the idea of Klay Thompson in a different uniform if he is indeed prepared to leave the Golden State Warriors in free agency.
