Trade season has arrived

My latest Weekend dime-dropping column gets you up to date on the Ben Simmons front and all the rest of the NBA's trade scuttle as the annual in-season deadline for deals (Feb. 10) draws near

The NBA trade deadline is 34 days away. There has been an undeniable uptick in deals-related phone conversations this week as teams leaguewide edged away from the holidays and a December rife with roster chaos and hundreds of hardship signings.

So we might be closer, at last, to a Ben Simmons trade.

Or perhaps not.

The 76ers will be discussing various Simmons trade scenarios for the next month, but …
