The real celebrations will wait until July -- until after the bulk of the NBA's offseason business plays out -- but we really just did make it to birthday No. 3 for this basketball publication
Such a fulfilling journey getting to witness all the comings and goings in #ThisLeague and also, #ThisSubstack!
Definitely the thing I await the most in my inbox each week. Being privy to not only the NBA intel, but also your stories, musings. & travelogues, you have created an All-NBA-tier community that continues to keep me engaged.
Look forward to the next year, and wish you all the best! "3" CHEERS FOR YOU!!! 🎉🥳🎁🍾
Somehow I don’t see the same outcry for this trade as we saw for Gobert… trade might make Knicks better but the amount of picks is ridiculously for that level of player…
I never understood why DelNegro never coached again after the Clippers… he got a bad break, “Doc came to “save the day” only to produce the same results the following season, demonstrating that it was the limitations of the roster not the coach.
Also proud to the Spurs with 2-out of-3 championships with out going over the tax… almost did it 3 times!!
Congrats, Marc, and best wishes for many more happy years!
The Knicks/Nova connection led me to think about other teams with multiple teammates from the same college team. Pitino got razzed when he had Antoine Walker, Ron Mercer, and Walter McCarty from UK on his first Celtics roster. A Google search reveals that the Grizzlies had Tyus Jones, Grayson Allen and Justise Winslow in 2020. I wonder if there are others with more than three college teammates.
Marc, Happy 3rd Birthday 🎉😎🍸 to The Stein Line. I’ve been a fan of work since Dallas Morning News, then on ESPN. I appreciate your open and honest opinions and thoughts that brings so much to this platform. You created a platform for fans like all of us that love the game that love sports and for that I’m very grateful. May this platform have many many more birthdays, and I’m so grateful to be on it with so many great people who participate in open conversation without getting personal, and just back-and-forth more importantly, I appreciate the knowledge you having in the game and how you bring us News quickly and keep us in the know. Thank you 🍸 Cheers to many more Years
Happy 3 year anniversary! Greetings from Barcelona where I am wrapping up a vacation and spending some of the Barnes extension dough 😃. Thanks for all you do- it's a pleasure to read your coverage!

Big congrats, Marc!
Happy Anniversary Marc. Been here since day 1 and not going anywhere. You're worth 5 number ones and 3 swaps.
It seems first time coaches have largely done well.
The coaching chart was indeed revealing, too.
Happy anniversary, Marc!

Spain! Excellent choice. Have enjoyed so many memorable trips there.
Rumblings after dark!
