No question Simmons struggled from the line in the Atlanta series….but he also struggled in the wizards series but no ones cares because they won. He struggled all year, scoring. He was the scapegoat but not the reason they lost. He also had 9 and 13 assists in the last two losses with only 2 TOs each game. Embiid had 13 turnovers in those two losses and during one stretch missed 11 of 11 straight shots. Both stars struggled in their own ways, it is just that Embiid is a scorer so you do not notice unless you actually watch the game. Ben will score when Embiid is out as he clogs up the paint. The biggest diff between Ben and Embiid, is Ben took responsibility and Embiid threw his teammate under the bus. Rivers did too. Rivers did not make adjustments. He played into Atlanta’s hands the entire series. Now for media tactics and PR they are trying to say they want Ben and Ben wants out. Yet everyone knows that Philly wants Ben out and are limping because they shot themselves in the foot with trade value by being unprofessional. Thing is: Ben has no where to go but up in value and Embiid has had his best series. When Philly looks back three years from today they will realize their error in judgement. I am a fan of Simmons. Screw Philly.

I hope Simmons has been laying low and working on his shot over the summer ... someone as talented as Ben doesn't even have to become a GREAT shooter, just a willing shooter. I have a feeling that his next team will be very happy with Ben_Simmons 2.0.
