Lol...not so far. Combination of two young kids, world cup, life, and poor effort from philly. I did happen to be watching both those magical embiid performances though.
Interesting how much can change in one month when looking at how far some teams moved from the prior month. While overall can’t disagree with current rankings, more interesting is trying to figure out who moves in what direction over the next month. Do the injuries continue to expose lack of bench or does returning players allow teams to truly show what they are capable? Let the games continue.
This power Ranking like those before a moment in time. Seems like teams don't care about the regular season any more. Instead of new trophies figure out a way to make me want to watch regular season basketball again
This is a tangent, but I'm distressed by the future of the new Jerry West Clutch Player of the Year Trophy. If the mythology as practiced in the past about clutch holds true in the future, then that award will go to the wrong person at least 90% of the time.
The hard numbers are available. It all depends on how you define clutch. If you say it's made shots in the last five minutes of a playoff game that either tie the game or put a team ahead then LeBron overtook Jordan with the number of those shots a couple years ago. And what if we include assists in crunch time as a measure of clutch? Or steals? Or blocked shots? I remember Pippen won a playoff game with a big steal.
If the Mavs season was a movie, it would be called “No Exit.” No good trades, maxed out role players, and injuries piling up.
Hi Marc, sorry if you’ve answered this before. Will you be doing Spotify Greenrooms again or is that not happening anymore?

You aren't watching every Sixers game? Hard to believe ...

Seriously. Clutch player of the year? How can that ever be quantified?

Eh...I don't like the award. Post season I might be able to get behind. Regular season no thanks.
Great point. It should only be a post season award.
Award talk coming soon.
