No less an authority than LeBron James says that Jared Dudley's departure to Dallas to start his coaching career is a bigger hit for the 2020 champions than you would think
Haven’t been able to make the last two Greenroom, but oh, how this Dudley news just adds more salt to my wounds of losing Alex Caruso.
This penny pinching around the margins really irks me and other Laker fans. You only have LeBron for maybe two more good years. You gotta spare no expense here. And yet, the Lakers are not doing so… 😣
Granted, it’s all dependent on good health, but the fact they aren’t trying to really bolster up the coaching assistant and not openly filling these last roster spots doesn’t exactly inspire optimism that the organization really wants to win.
Excited for Russ’s addition, but I have a feeling there’s going to be a lingering bittersweetness at how this off-season transpired. 😖
