Hey Marc, have a Mavs question for you. IF they get extremely lucky and get the first overall pick(though history suggests they won't move up in the draft), do you think they would trade it away and get a TON in return, or would the potential of Luka/Wemby be too tempting for Mark & Nico? Part of me as a fan would want to keep the pick, but another part of me knows it's rare for players of Wemby's build to stay healthy.

Absolutely! His profit will increase too much to pass.... I have been saying for a while that the value of these franchises are too big for lower-end millionaires not to cash in. The value of that team will be much higher with Wemby

As a Sixers fan, Doc was right about Harden. If it was me in Harden’s shoes, I wouldn’t go to Vegas. But I’m not Harden, one of the greatest NBA players on the court and one of the most legendary partners off it.

Also, when I was in high school, I skipped my high school trip to Disney, even though I had a girlfriend who would have went too. I had four AP exams the next week, and my parents had paid $100 for the exams, and I wanted to do well to honor them. $100 was a lot in 1989. In the end, I aced the exams (3 5’s and a 4, 5 being the top score), but I regretted giving up that experience. So Harden is clearly smarter than I was as a high school senior.

It is so true that we San Antonians were about to lose it every time the Spurs won. 🥴. You know how they just fired Bud for not delivering a championship... Pop was at risk if he failed to land one of the bottom three 😂

I was anticipating something in the by-the-numbers section about how many times the number one pick has landed at each position 🤔

Pulling for a few teams in the lottery. Portland...if harden doesn't work out maybe philly can score Lillard. Utah...supposed to tank but players didn't think so. Charlotte...let them be a relevant franchise for once.

Great stat about Popovich - and unlike Connie Mack he doesn’t own the team, so it’s all on merit!
