Of course your overly sentimental correspondent had to be in San Antonio alongside a record crowd of 68,323 for the Spurs' return to the Alamodome ... but please allow me to explain all the reasons
San Antonio is a great town. I’ve been there twice in my lifetime and enjoyed it immensely. I also had Italian food when I was there and it didn’t disappoint. Thanks for sharing the food pics. I need to get back there. 👍🏽🍕
Please don’t think this is my lone takeaway from the fantastic storytelling and nostalgia of this entire piece … but how does one get a subscription to GIGANTES here in the States?
It can be both. I was there, and was excited to support the Spurs while seeing steph curry in person.
Youre lying if you say nobody was there for Steph, but you’re (not marc, moreso twitterheads) being a bit dishonest if you’re saying he is the only reason (looking at you ESPN)

Those food pics are almost enough to make me want to jump on a plane right now and head over there.
Thanks for the encouragement. I really enjoy the food reviews and travelogue-ing.
Nobody was at that game to see Stephen Curry. I wish y'all would quit trying to make that part of the narrative for this game.
The considerable number of Curry jerseys I saw would suggest otherwise.
