Can't wait to listen to the whole thing on the way home from work. Dirk is, and will always be, my all time favorite Maverick...and my 2nd favorite player of all time (MJ, the GOAT). He always played with passion and class. He may have been called soft for many years, but he was NEVER called dirty...not ever. The '06 finals were stolen from us...you can't convince me otherwise. In '11 Dirk and Crew ripped it from the "big 3's" hands. Loved the run that year, sweeping the Lakers, beating Durant, Westbrook and Harden...just the BEST run! Well deserved first ballot HOFer!!! MMFL!!!!
I agree. A super sweet interview with Dirk. I totally remember that championship series where Dirk was sick and was made fun of—I remember feeling irritated that he wasn’t taken seriously. He won the ting that year and while I’m not a Mavs fan, I’m clearly a Dirk fan.
