Well, you already know there will be pushback on Simmons. If you look at his shooting, the part he is good at (finishing around the rim), he uses his right hand a lot for those shots. Beyond that, he just is not a very competent shooter with his left hand.
I do agree that team success should matter, so give me Mike Conley as my starting lefty point guard. Not only did he help lead the Jazz to the #1 seed, you saw how badly he was needed in those Clipper games when the team needed another reliable scorer or guy to set the table for their other shooters. Because he is an indispensable member of their team, give me All-Star, Mike Conley!
Ingles & Fox would be great off the bench. Add them together, and this All-Southpaw team is ready to go to work. In fact, I think they would think they could compete for a 3-5th seed in either conference.
