In addition to the clearly pivotal Steve Kerr comments, I think an under discussed aspect of the officiating change was the 200 pt all star game & subsequent gloating of that obscene target goal by one Jalen Brunson.

TWIB is awesome, of course, but I declare it essential that anybody reading also hum the just-as-memorable music playing under the highlights. (dun dun, dun dun, dun dun, dun dun, dun dunnnnn dun dun dun dun dun, dun dunnnnnnn, dun dun dun dun, dunnnnn dun dun dun dun dun, dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dunnnnn......)

Hey Marc! All for the TWIB format! Just need to add a link to “Gathering Clouds” at the end with -30- mark. 😊

If I ever figure out how to embed the music so it plays when you open the file, rest assured I will!

Lots of sympathy to you as a still Sabres fan. Are they the worst franchise in professional sports? Flyers collapse has disappointed. At least we look to finally be headed in the right direction as an organization. I can't imagine being a Sabres fan. The days of Pat LaFontaine and Hasek seem like a century ago.

You say Flyers and I immediately rewind to the 1975 Cup finals.

Marc, this is the best summary I have seen of all the summaries and speculations about the beginning of the NBA drama.

OK, this might seem nit-picky for what is an otherwise great change in the addition of PIT but... isn't the #1 seed at a disadvantage not knowing who its opponent will be until Friday? Even the #2 seed knows its only one of two options. It's not uncommon anymore for an 8 to upset a 1 and OKC could be looking at a veteran Lakers or Warriors team.

Totally agree. It's a definite flaw in the format.

Let's say there was no play in. They wouldn't know in any less time though , correct?

If there was no Play-In, No. 1 and No. 2 in each conference would know their opponents by yesterday at the latest.

Also....winning your division serving as a tie breaker? Kinda weak. No one even knows there are divisions in the NBA.

Right but when did the playoffs start before they started the play in? Didn't they start a couple days after the regular season ended?
